About

I'm Bülent Tekmen, a co-founder of Colendi.

For more than a decade I've worked on financial infrastructure — the systems that quietly decide who gets access to credit, capital, and trust. It started with a conviction I keep returning to: banking is necessary, banks are not. At Ininal we built tools for the unbanked; at Colendi we've been building the credit-scoring and banking-as-a-service rails that sit beneath other companies' products.

I think about how institutions scale, what money is becoming, and the long arc of technology — the way each technological revolution reorganizes finance before anyone agrees that it has. I'm writing a book about it, Banking.io.

I live in Istanbul. This site is a quiet archive of what I'm reading, writing, and still trying to figure out. You can reach me by email.
